International company is looking for a Cisco specialist:
Required Technical Skill Set
Strong Knowledge on Network Routing, Switching, ACI & Network Security
Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
Requirements
- Excellent Network Administration and Troubleshooting skills.
- Design, Build/Implement, Migrate and Operate experience on Cisco ACI/Spine leaf Architecture
- Understanding of basic components of ACI fabric (Tenant, BD, VRF, APIC), Nexus DC technologies such as vPC, FabricPath, OTV, VXLAN
- Understanding of ACI implementations being single site, multi-pod, network centric
- Recommend Network Solutions based on requirements and industry best practices and support in development of future road-map
- Develop, document and maintain the Network Service procedures to meet the requirements and update the physical/logical Network Design/Architecture Plan.
- Knowledge and experience in VLAN, HSRP, STP, VTP and other switching technologies
- Flexibility to work outside of Business Hours to support any critical issues
- Knowledge on and ability to follow Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management Process.
- Strong team player with a constructive perspective and commitment to the success of the business
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
- Product knowledge:
- Routing Protocols especially BGP, OSPF
- Cisco Routers - 7200, 3800, 3600, 2800, 2900, 881
- Switches -- Nexus 7K/5K/2K, Cisco 6500/4500/3750/2960
- Firewalls -- Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Palo Alto
- Cisco ACI/API
Good-To-Have:
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Bash
- Experience with Load Balancers like F5, Netscalers etc.,
- ITIL Certification
- CISCO/CCNA Certification
